Hrvoje Krešić is an award-winning journalist, editor, and television anchor with more than 25 years of experience in print, television, and digital media.
He currently works as an editor, anchor, and reporter at N1 Television, covering high-level national and international politics, geopolitics, business, and finance. He is recognized as one of the leading media professionals in the region.
He is an alumnus of the prestigious Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford. His international reporting experience includes many years of coverage of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, key European Council summits — including negotiations on the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) — as well as election processes in countries such as the United States, Germany, and Austria.
He has also reported from crisis hotspots in the Middle East, including Gaza and the West Bank, interviewed key global figures such as Emmanuel Macron and Angela Merkel, and covered the conclave at which Pope Francis was elected.
He was the first recipient of the prestigious Gordana Suša Regional Journalism Award, and in 2018, the Croatian Journalists’ Association (HND) named him Journalist of the Year. He is also a recipient of the European Best Young Journalist Award and a multiple winner of the HND’s annual awards for outstanding work in print and television journalism.
