Darijo Krešić has played a key role in building the most active M&A boutique in the former Yugoslavia and Southeastern Europe. Over the past five years, Darijo’s team has been involved in 45 transactions across 10 countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, with an aggregate value of approximately EUR 1 billion. Since 2022, GKCF has been the most active M&A advisory firm in Croatia by number of transactions. In 2025, it was also the most active firm in the former Yugoslavia and ranked among the top three in Southeastern Europe, according to Mergermarket.
He is Board Member of Globalscope Partners (globalscopepartners.com), a global M&A network comprising 100 offices across 49 countries worldwide. In 2025, the network’s member firms collectively closed M&A transactions worth USD 34 billion.
Darijo holds a degree in Economics from Zagreb School of Economics and Management. He subsequently completed a postgraduate degree programme in Financial Strategy at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
